If you are planning a visit to the Phyllis Hamner Room, please be aware of the following policies and procedures.

1. We do not allow children under the age of 12 in the genealogy department.
2. No solicitation is permitted.
3. If you are planning to do research at the courthouse, please come to the
library first. Some records are not accessible at the courthouse, but are
available at the library.
4. Please bring pencils. Ink pens are not allowed in the genealogy room.
5. All materials must be used in the Hamner Room
6. Please bring small currency.
7. Computers and Microfilm machines are closed five (5) minutes before
closing.

 

          The library does offer some services as well.

  1. Free In-house access to Ancestry Library Edition
  2. Access to Family History Center microfilm ($5.50 per roll) – These must remain in the Hamner Room.
  3. Interlibrary Loan of Ohio Newspaper Microfilm from the Ohio Historical Society ($3.00 per film)
  4. Wireless Internet Access
  5. Computer Access
  6. Microfilm printouts 25¢
  7. Black and white computer printouts 25¢
  8. Color computer printouts 25¢
  9. Photocopies 25¢
